Fergus Robertson is the former Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and has over 30 years experience in senior management, marketing and
business development in multi-national oil and gas engineering and contracting companies, including McDermott International and ABB Lummus Global.

He was located in South East Asia, the Middle East and Eurasia for 20 years, gaining wide experience in successful joint ventures, alliances and other partnerships with national companies and governments in many different countries. The last 15 years has been focused on Central Asia mainly in the Caspian Region.

Fergus participates in KBTIC ((Kazakh British Trade and Industry Council) following several years as a member of the UK Department of Trade Caspian Advisory Group. He was the first Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan outside the Soviet bloc from 2001 until 2006. The position of Honorary Consul has provided access to all levels of Government and assistance with the promotion of business investment and development in the Republic.
